哈克定律

哈克定律是有关河流长度和其流域面积的经验关系式。若L为流域中最长河流的长度,A为流域面积,则:

C为常数,针对大部分的流域,指数h略小于0.6。

h会随区域有轻微的变化,若是在较大的流域(>8,000 平方英里或20,720平方公里),也会略微降低。有推导出h的理论值为 = 4/7 ≈ 0.571[1]
